Updated: Jan 19, 2023

Locker numbering has always been a bit of an afterthought, manufacturers never supply lockers with numbers as standard and customers tend to forget that they will need them.

We have been championing the humble locker number for some time now and we feel that your numbers can be more than just a way of identifying whos locker is who's.

Below is a guide to the types of locker number we stock and how they could really change the way your school lockers look and function.

Number stickers

If you are looking for a simple yet effective numbering solution for your school lockers then look no further than the simple number sticker. Simply stick the required numbers anywhere on your locker doors and you are good to go.

These are the cheapest solution and are designed to work best on metal lockers.

Vinyl numbering

Vinyl numbers completely change the look of your lockers and they are proving exceptionally popular with schools across the country.

By mixing different number sizes on each door you can create a design thats stylish and contemporary.

If you are thinking about fitting vinyl numbers in your school, it's best to place them in areas of high footfall as children do try to pick them off when placed out of the way of staff.

Direct engraving

Direct engraving is the process used to engrave your locker numbers into the core fabric of the door itself. This method is great as it is permanent but is generally more expensive to apply.

Direct engraving can only be applied to SGL (solid grade laminate doors) and not steel or wood.
